My name is Lauren Hilary, and I’m a voiceover artist. I’m also a vocalist and recording artist, and one of my greatest joys has been performing on countless stages over the past few decades. I’ve spent years captivating concert-goers with my blend of warmth and dramatic angst, expressing raw emotion, shaping it, and sharing it with my audience.

As a narrator, my goal is to bring that same raw emotion into voice acting. I’ve been an avid reader since childhood, and I love getting lost in a good story. In audiobook narration, I use my voice to pull characters off the page and make them feel present, grounded, and real, especially in stories that ask for nuance and depth.

Before moving into voice acting, I also worked in video production as an editor. That background gave me a strong understanding of both technical workflow and storytelling, and it continues to inform the way I approach audiobook production today. For my clients, that means working with someone who values both performance and technical expertise (i.e., pristine processing, meeting ACX standards) that make a project run smoothly.

Outside the studio, I’m a goth-rock mom to an awesome daughter who reminds me daily of what matters most. I made the career shift toward audiobook narration to be more present in her life; and because I am, quite frankly, obsessed with fantasy, romance, and sci-fi literature. My voice has always been my strongest asset, and I couldn’t imagine a better way to use it.

I live in a lakeside community straight out of a cozy fantasy novel with my daughter, the man who convinced me to marry him, and our very well-fed cat.
